REDEFINING GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS

Government schools in Nepal are generally made of concrete blocks, metal trusses and CGI sheets. They are dark, uninspiring and thermally very uncomfortable. After the 2014 Earthquake, we redesigned the schools using locally available resources. They are warm in winter, have good sound insulation, have ample light and have open play-spaces where students can play without having to worry about harsh weather.
